This piece is created out of precious metal silver clay. Fine silver is ground extremely small and suspended in a binder to create clay. Working with precious metal clay allows me to shape, mold and texture before I fire it at 1650 degrees and the clay becomes beautiful silver jewelry. For this jewelry piece dichroic frit glass was added and held in place with tinted ice resin.
